How soon will my misconduct case be heard?
We aim to hear non personals every 2 weeks, but please bear in mind these are heard in order of receipt so it may take a little longer than 2 weeks.

If I can't get all my witness statements to you before the deadline can I still send them in?
Yes, but please let us know that we will be receiving them so that we know not to hear your case.

Will you accept a late personal hearing request?
No, any request for a personal hearing must be received, together with payment, on or before the response date.

Can I bring witness to my personal hearing?
Yes, but please let us know in advance who will be attending.

Will I be told the result on the night of the hearing?
This will depend if there are any other connecting cases being heard on the same night. If there are not then yes you will find out on the night.

Can I appeal against the decision if I am not happy?
Yes, details of the appeals procedure will be on your result letter.

If I receive a fine, can I pay this via instalments?
Yes, please contact the office on 01785 256994 to discuss a mutually agreeable installment plan.

How long does a personal hearing last?
There is no set time frame. In order to ensure that you have a fair hearing, we will not set a specific duration.

Can I postpone my hearing?
Yes, you are allowed 1 postponement in relation to Personal Hearings.
