My daughter is just starting out, where can she play football?

There are a number of different initiatives for girls to play football in Staffordshire.

Wildcats sessions are designed for girls aged 5-11 who are starting their football journey – we have a number of these in Staffordshire. You can find information about Wildcats on our Staffordshire FA website.

Squad Girls sessions are perfect for girls aged 11-16 to start their football journey at a slightly later stage in their childhood and/or just play with friends in a less competitive environment that the traditional team-based game. You can find information about Squad Girls and those hosting sessions on our Staffordshire FA website.

A number of clubs also offer opportunities for girls to get straight involved with a team. For more information on team-based playing opportunities, get in touch and a member of our Participation & Workforce team will be able to support - support@staffordshirefa.com
