How do I become a Club Welfare Officer?

Modified on Thu, 11 Feb, 2021 at 5:57 PM

To become a Club Welfare Officer you need to have completed the FA Safeguarding Children’s workshop before you can attend the FA Welfare Officers Workshop.

The Welfare officer workshops are now delivered on line and the two hour workshop can be booked via the Bootroom which is where you will find all FA education training courses.

Once you have completed the course and you hold a valid CRC you can then be named as the Club's Welfare Officer on the Whole Game System. A club can have more than one Club Welfare Officer and it is recommended that larger clubs have more than one Club Welfare Officer in place to cover the youth teams.
