New 2025-26 DBS application process

The 2025-26 season will see a change to the FA DBS Process. This will streamline the DBS process and allow you to self verify your documents.  We have complied a basic information package for you to help you in the change over of the systems from First Advantage to Know Your People. 


Who Needs a DBS?

A DBS check is required for anyone in regulated activity with under-18s, including:

  • Coaches and Assistant Coaches
  • Managers
  • Club Welfare Officers
  • First Aiders
  • Volunteers who regularly supervise children
  • Referees
