Last updated: August 2025
If your personal information—such as name, email, phone number, or address—needs updating, here’s how to keep your records up to date in the England Football Portals (which replaced the Whole Game System on 1 August 2025).
1. Use the England Football Portals
All previous Whole Game System functions now sit in the following portals:
Club Portal – for clubs, teams, and officials
Competition Portal – for league operations
Referee Portal – for referees and observers
Steps:
Log in at https://myaccount.thefa.com using your FAN, email, and password.
Select the appropriate portal.
Go to “My Details” (or “All Players” for clubs managing players).
Edit the fields you need to update.
Click Save to confirm changes.
2. If Details Are Locked
Some fields, like name, date of birth, or gender, may be locked for safeguarding and data integrity reasons.
If you need these updated, please contact Staffordshire FA with:
Your FAN number
The correct details
Supporting evidence if required (e.g., proof of name change)
Contact us:
Email: support@staffordshirefa.com
Phone: 01785 256994
Or raise a ticket on the Support Portal.
3. Club or League Records
If you are:
A club secretary, manager, or coach – make sure your details are also updated in your club’s internal systems.
A league official – notify your league administrator to update their records.
4. Why It Matters
Keeping your details up to date ensures:
You receive important updates and reminders
Your safeguarding records remain compliant
Accurate registration and competition data is maintained
